8. Tea or Coffee Holder: Loose tea, coffee beans, popcorn kernels, sugar, rice, flour… Should we keep going? Your upcycled candle jar is perfect for food storage and comes with a natural bamboo like with silicone ring to seal the deal.

9. Candy Jar: Big enough to hold your favorite candies, but small enough to still hide ‘em from everyone else.

10. Pet Treats: Last but not least, here’s an idea for our furry little friends. Our jars and lids help keep your pet treats fresh.

Did we get you excited with any of these ideas? Great! Let’s go over how to clean out the left-over coconut wax. It’s really breeze since coconut wax is already on the softer side.

PREPARING YOUR CANDLE JAR

1. Warm it up: Warm up the wax to melt it. There are a number of ways to do this, but I like putting our jars in a toaster oven on 175 Degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes.

2. Clean it out: Grab the hot jar with a mitt or towel and pour out the contents into a garbage can (just not the sink please since you wouldn’t want that wax to harden and build up in the plumbing). Wipe away any excess heavy wax with a paper towel. Use a spoon to scrape out the wick tabs stickered to the bottom of the glass.

3. Give it a final rinse: Wash away any wax left over with dish soap and warm water. Dish soap works wonders for dissolving wax.
